Are you interested in Learning more about the American Arts and Crafts Movement? Do you collect mission furniture  and want to learn more? Perhaps you live in and Arts and Crafts bungalow and wondered about how it was designed? If so, you’ve come to the right place.

Early in the 20th century, Central New York became an important center for the American Arts and Crafts Movement. Our organization, The Arts and Crafts Society of Central New York is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study of the Arts and Crafts Movement. We’ve held events and published articles on topics concerning  major figures of the Movement: Gustav Stickley, Elbert Hubbard, Frank Lloyd Wright, Ward Wellingotn Ward, Adelaide Alsop Robineau, and Harvey Ellis among many others.

Welcome to our new blog. Please visit here often; our members will be posting articles related to the Arts and Crafts Movement as well as information about the Society’s upcoming events.

If you’re a current ACSCNY member and you have a article, photo or link to a video that you’d like to contribute to our blog, please contact Bill Bowen. Not a member? Don’t miss out. Please visit our Web site for more information on membership.
