For our members in the New York City area or those headed there this month, the New York Times reported that the D. Wigmore Fine Art gallery in Manhattan is holding an exhibition of work from the Byrdcliffe Arts and Crafts community’s later period called, “The Woodstock Story Told in Paintings, Photography, Sculpture and Ceramics.” The show features sculpture and ceramics by various artists, metalwork by William Hunt Diederich and paintings by George Bellows and George Ault among others. It runs now through January 28, 2012. For more information visit the gallery’s Web site.
