Cheryl Robertson, Curator and Author, Passes Away

It was with great sadness that the Arts and Crafts Society learned of the death of a leading Arts and Crafts movement scholar and dear friend to our organization, Cheryl Robertson. Ms. Robertson served as curator and professor at several institutions over the course of her thirty-year career. She contributed to the  influential ground-breaking exhibition, “The Art that is Life” held at Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in 1987.

Ms. Robertson traveled to Syracuse to meet with the Society and present several talks. We acknowledge her generosity of her knowledge with our group. She will be greatly missed.

Read her obituary on Arts and Crafts Collector.
